Bricker Pipelines recognises it's legal and moral responsibility to provide and maintain, so far as predictable, a working environment that is safe and without risks to health. It is there fore the company's policy to:

• MONITOR the health of it's employees and the safety of it's workplace
• SAFEGUARD all emplyees from occupational illness and injury
• PROVIDE effective health and safety systems aimed at preventing occupational illness and injury.
• CONSULT with all employees on health and safety matters; and
• DOCUMENT all matters relating to employee health and safety


MANAGEMENT WILL:

• Devise and administer a comprehensive health and safety program;
• Hold reqular meetings with staff to discuss health and safety performance and issues
• Take effective and timely action to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions for all employees;
• Maintain a safe workplace, including being accountable for working conditions under their control;
• Ensure the observation of safe working procedures;
• Ensure plant and equipment is, as far as predictable, safe and without risk to health;
• And provide adequate safety information, training and competent suppervision to employees.

 

EMPLOYEES ARE  REQUIRED TO:

• Take reasonable care of their own health and safety and the health and safety of their co-workers and/ or anyone who may be affected by their actions.
• Observe all safe working procedures, including the correct use of safety equipment
• Cooperate with management in achieving a safe and healthy workplace;
• and NOT put at risk the health and safety of others.

 

This policy will be implemented through policies, procedures and programs, developed and documented by management in consultation with employee representatives that must be adhered to and applied by all employees and contractors
